Terms of use
Last updated 2026-04-29
These terms govern your use of the BT’s website and any purchase you make from us. By using the site or placing an order you agree to them.
The site
We try to keep the site accurate and up-to-date, but we don’t guarantee it’s perfect. Prices, availability, and product details can change without notice. If something on the site is wrong — a misprinted price, an out-of-stock item shown as available — we may cancel the order and refund you in full.
Your account
You’re responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for any orders placed from your account. Tell us immediately if you think someone else has accessed it.
Orders
An order is an offer to buy. It becomes a contract once we send you a confirmation email. We may decline an order if we suspect fraud, if a product turns out to be unavailable, or if a pricing error is obvious.
Made-to-order interior pieces are non-cancellable once we’ve cut material for them. We’ll confirm the cut date when you order.
Payment
All prices are in Nigerian Naira and include 7.5% VAT where applicable. Payment is taken at checkout via Paystack (cards, bank transfer, USSD, and other methods Paystack supports). Card data never reaches our servers.
Delivery & returns
Detailed in our shipping & returns policy. Risk passes to you when the goods are handed to you or someone at your delivery address.
Intellectual property
Everything on the site — product photography, copy, illustrations, our brand — belongs to BT’s Home and Fragrance unless explicitly noted. You can share images of pieces you’ve bought to your heart’s content; you can’t reuse our photography or copy commercially without permission.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by Nigerian law, our liability for any single order is limited to the value of that order. We’re not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g., lost profits) arising from your use of the site or our products.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Nigerian law. Disputes that can’t be resolved by writing to us first will be settled by the courts of Lagos State.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The version that applies to your order is the one in force when the order was placed.
